Narratess Sale & new books!

It’s time again for the Narratess Indie Book Sale! Running from August 23-25, you can grab a ton of indie books for super cheap.

Besides the sale, I’ve been doing a lot of writing since last month. I recently released a free short story called, I Knelt Before Him, and it’s on Itch. It’s one of the darkest things I’ve written, so beware that it has violence, gore, and some sexual content as symbolism for death. There are a lot of emotions I have for certain events in my life that I’m unable to feel fully outside of fiction, so this was a catharsis, as it’s based on some of my own experiences.

On the topic of short stories, I’ve also made the decision to make my shorts ‘pay what you want’ on Kofi and Itch, which means they’ll be free to claim, but a donation is suggested if you can afford to support my work. If not, no worries! Just download and enjoy.

I also wrote a book I plan on releasing next called Nightdreams. It’s a super spicy queer fantasy and it’s very wholesome and lighthearted for a change. I wrote it for the sake of escapism, since everything going on in my personal life, and in the world, is getting to be too much for me to process. I hope it can be a (very spicy) escape for others too. You can find more about it here, but please note that the version currently up on Wattpad and in the excerpts reflects an earlier version that is going to have some things changed.

I’m also working on an older WIP, called The Soulless Ones. It’s a liminal space/Backrooms-inspired sci-fi, and it has some elements of horror. I have to finish it and do a lot of rewriting, but it’s a story I really want to get out there next year. I don’t have anything up about it yet, but I’ll share here when I do!
